Missed a work deadline? Worried that you said the wrong thing to a friend? Reversed the car into a tree? Forgot to take the leftovers out of the freezer to thaw for dinner? Work emails getting the better of you? Mistakes, failures, and things going wrong  happen to all of us even when we try hard to keep them at bay. 

This might sound like the beginnings of an insurance advertisement, but we promise we’re not trying to sell you anything here. In this module we discuss how to go easy on yourself in challenging situations.

Objectives

Course objectives:

  1. Be introduced to self-compassion
  2. Learn about key self-compassion research
  3. Understand how to put self-compassion into action
  4. Complete a final knowledge check
