Description

Strengthen your relationships by sharing positive feelings (Whānau)

The experience of sharing positive emotions with other people is called “positivity resonance” by researchers, a technical name for something quite simple.

The key idea of positivity resonance is that positive emotion is much more powerful when it is shared with someone else, and that the quality of these interactions is more important than the quantity (although both are helpful!).

Objectives

Course objectives:

  1. Be introduced to the role of positive emotion in relationships
  2. Learn about key positivity resonance research
  3. Understand different ways to experience more positive emotions with your loved ones
  4. Complete a final knowledge check
