Description
Choose experiences, not stuff, to combat the overwhelm (Taiao)
We know full well that it can be hard to put on our blinkers and hide away from the constant stream of advertising that tells us a different story: that we will be happy and healthy when we buy that supplement subscription, the salon appointment or the new pair of jeans. Sometimes, these purchases might feel good but often that good feeling doesn’t last.
We want to share our cheat sheet for avoiding the overwhelm that comes from being a consumer in a noisy world full of companies trying to sell us stuff.
Objectives
Course objectives:
- Be introduced to the relationship between money and wellbeing (and why it's tricky)
- Learn about key research that shows us how spending on experiences is best for our wellbeing
- Understand different options for how to prioritise experiences, not stuff, in our day-to-day lives
- Complete a final knowledge check
