This course aims to provide you with a set of concrete actions you can take to provide support going forward.
Objectives
Learning goals across the course:
- Recognise how to use the principles of Te Whare Tapa Whā to support a struggling team member
- Identify some of the common interventions that are appropriate when someone is struggling
- Know how to put in practice some reasonable accommodations for a team member who is struggling
- Clarify the relationship between mental illness and performance
- Identify the next steps if the team member is still unable to perform in their role
